Low Calorie Protein Pizza made with Raw Whey Protein Powder

RAW WHEY UNFLAVOURED PROTEIN PIZZA (MADE WITH RAW WHEY AND 100% WHOLE WHEAT) For the Protein Pizza Base (This recipe makes one medium-sized pizza base)

Used Product: Raw Whey Unflavoured Protein Powder

Ingredients:

1. 100 gms whole wheat flour

2. 15 gms raw whey

3. 60ml warm water (add more if needed)

4. 4g active dry yeast

5. ½ teaspoon salt

Method:

1. Warm up the water (10s in the microwave), and add dry yeast. Stir with a spoon and let it rest for 5 minutes until small bubbles form at the surface

2. In the meantime, blend all dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, protein powder and salt

3. Add the yeast and water mixture into the dry ingredient mixture and mix slowly with a wooden spoon

4. When the dough starts to form, transfer to a floured surface and knead for 5-10 mins until you obtain a nice smooth dough

5. Cover the dough with clean table linen and place at room temperature for a minimum of an hour

6. Work on the dough once again on a floured surface to take the air out. Roll out thin and add all your toppings (We added our homemade tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese)

7. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes (or until golden brown), top with fresh basil leaves, and enjoy!
